Garment redesign with purpose

Our work begins with the garment itself. We review fabric condition, construction, and the changes you want before discussing what can be achieved and how the project should move forward.

From fit updates to full redesigns, we handle each piece with attention to structure, material limits, and finish. The goal is to give clothing a new life without ignoring what the original garment can support.

Our story

Built around careful garment work

Fine Tailoring was built around thoughtful garment work for people who value clothing, memory, and sustainability. Each project is handled with clear communication and realistic expectations.

The workshop supports customers who want to keep a favorite piece, update a vintage item, or turn existing fabric into something more useful. We also review customer-supplied materials where a project calls for them.

Our process is structured but flexible: inquiry, assessment, consultation, scope, approval, work, review, and collection. This helps keep each redesign clear from the first conversation to the final fitting or finish check.

We are based in Islamabad and accept repair and redesign projects for the local area. Bookings can be made by phone, email, through the contact form, or by visiting the workshop during opening hours.

What we value

How we approach each piece

Every project is guided by the same principles: assess first, design with care, and work within the garment's real possibilities.

ST

Clear assessment

We start with a proper assessment before any quote is confirmed. That means the garment, fabric, condition, and fit requirements are reviewed first, so the project scope stays clear and realistic.

CU

Material-led design

Redesign work is shaped around the fabric already available. We plan carefully when reusing material, matching thread or trims where possible, and explaining any limits before approval.

FI

Measured finishing

Fit updates and finishing are checked again at collection whenever needed. Small final adjustments are handled with care, while keeping the agreed design and construction approach in place.

UP

Sustainable reuse

We focus on reuse, repair, and practical upcycling rather than replacing what already works. That approach helps extend the life of garments while keeping the result wearable and useful.
